In family counseling sessions, families will participate in an assessment process with their therapist and collaborate together to create a treatment plan to meet your unique needs as a family.
Sessions may involve the entire family, individuals, or small groups of family and friends (the siblings, the parents, the grandparents, etc.)
Some things you may work on as a family include communicating better as a family, decreasing conflict and emotional intensity in the household, increasing feelings of trust and safety, increasing vulnerability, parenting skills, boundaries and consequences, and more.
